SAWP WORKERS

Important Information for Employers Receiving SAWP Workers

As part of agricultural employers’ due diligence, it is important to provide health and safety orientation to new workers. It is essential that all new workers are made aware of any and all potential health and safety concerns.

FARSHA has developed an easy to use resource to assist employers with this responsibility. The resource provides employers utilizing guest workers with adequate tools to enable them to conduct orientation training, upon the workers’ arrival.

Resources available include a DVD, New Worker Orientation booklet and checklist. Resources and training is available in English, Spanish and Punjabi.

For more information regarding the resources please contact the FARSHA office.
